When we finally learned how we got to work producing this and frankly were all fairly happy with the results. It was very ambitious when we started because no one knew how to modify the skins of the game at the time. I opted to post a mirror to it here as well as showcase it as a feature on Jurassic-Pedia.
The stock game we felt missed an opportunity with tying up the respective movies at the time altogether in one knot. The project strived for a more authentic feel in terms of play experience. It was in part showing the fruits of our labors, resources, and our understanding of the Jurassic Park canon while simultaneously upgrading one of the best games to be released tied to first three films. Back at JPLegacy I lead the team responsible for the Film Canon Modification project for the Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis game. If you don’t know if your PC is able to hold it, you download it at your own risk High Quality one contains basic JPOG dinosaur reskins, MST’d dinosaurs, sounds, high resolution grass and high resolution skies. Low Grass one contains basic JPOG dinosaur reskins, MST’d dinosaurs, sounds and low quality grass that usually works for everyone.
No Grass one contains basic JPOG dinosaur reskins, MST’d dinosaurs, sounds. There are few options to download the pack. If you receive permission, you will be able to post the reskinned tmls. If you accidentaly happen to have an idea of making CC reskin pack, inform us about it in this topic or by PM so that we can approve it (or not) first. You can still use our work during making any videos, yet it would be nice to credit us for it if you do so. Noone is allowed to post CC sound files for download as own. If you meet a glitch with particular sound playing during the game (for example helicopter) just tap Esc and it should stop. After some work S77 was able to make it as glitchless as possible, yet still it occurs. There are some sound problems with humans speaking through the game. I will most probably prepare a reskin pack during the following months. But I still hope you will enjoy them anyway.
I am aware that these skins are not the perfect set, but I had no time to replace them with better ones before the release. You will find default JPOG animal reskin list below along with additional dinosaurs we brought to your parks! Also it contains cool new sounds that will echo through your park! All dinosaurs possess their own dead skins. Ladies and gentlemen, we present you Charming Cretaceous! This expansion pack focuses on late cretaceous dinosaurs. I do not own this mod, and I am only doing this to preserve the mods of JPOG
